Avon have launched a new women's perfume called Avon Mark White Vetiver, fronted by Ashley Green posing for an ad reminiscent of the upbeat, pants-wearing vibes of Charlie by Revlon.
While there have been novel accords such as White Musk, White Amber (see Ted Lapidus White Soul, DKNY Pure or Gap White Amber No.541), and more recently, White Patchouli which advertized its newness in becoming the very name of a fragrance by Tom Ford in 2008, White Vetiver is a newly explicit addition to the palette of sensations...
Mark White Vetiver Fragrance Mist is about a "A blend of unexpected contrasts. A dark, smoky vetiver vibe merges with intimate notes of ultra-femme white tuberose for the mark. girl who loves to embrace what’s different and daring."
In the description of the notes, the tuberose is also listed as being a dark tuberose.
The fragrance opens on top notes of Black plum, Italian mandarin, pink peppercorn before blooming into a heart of Tuberose noir, jasmine petals, dark cocoa beans. The deep notes linger thanks to Haitian vetiver, Indonesian patchouli, and Georgywood®.
Georgywood is a perfumery material which smells ambery and woody with clean, fresh, green, minty facets.
A 1.7 fl. oz bottle is priced at $22.
