Ny film för Ashley?!
Såhär skriver Hollywoodreporter;
Ashley Greene, who plays Alice Cullen in the “Twilight” movies, and “Hung” star Thomas Jane are in negotiations to join Miley Cyrus and Demi Moore in “LOL,” Mandate’s English-language remake of the French comedy.
Also joining the cast are Ashley Hinshaw and George Finn.
Liza Azuelos, who helmed the 2008 original, is directing the new pic produced by Michael Shamberg and Stacey Sher.
The story centers on a teenage girl (Cyrus) who is dumped by her more sexually experienced boyfriend (Finn) while her divorcee mother (Moore) struggles to move on with her life.
Greene will play a high school bad girl, and Jane will be Cyrus’ father.
Hinshaw will play Cyrus’ best friend. Douglas Booth has already been cast as Cyrus’ love interest.
Greene, repped by Innovative Artists and McKeon Myones Management, next toplines “Apparition,” a supernatural thriller from Dark Castle and Warner Bros., and recently wrapped “Butter,” an indie comedy with Jennifer Garner and Hugh Jackman.
Alltid kul med en ny film, eller hur? Och dessutom ska Ashley i så fall spela skolans bad-girl! :D

Alice doesn’t seem to fight like the other vampires. What makes her different?
”Alice is lithe, like a dancer, so we did much more of a Cirque du Soleil spin on Alice’s fighting, which was really cool. I grew up with a martial-arts background, plus I did acrobatics and tae kwon do. It was great to get back to that world.”

Nya bilder på Alice från Eclipse
Intervju med Ashley
Ashley Greene may be best known to Twilight fans as Alice, the impish vampire who adds a touch of girlie fun to the Cullen clan. But offscreen, her image is less pixie than provocative. Whether she’s proving herself to be a budding fashionista on the red carpet or posing for revealing magazine covers (she graces the latest issue of Women’s Health in a bikini), she can’t help but turn heads. Her movie career is also red-hot; she just wrapped Butter alongside Hugh Jackmand and Jennifer Garner, and landed her first leading role in the upcoming supernatural thriller, The Apparition. The 23-year-old actress talks to Dose.ca before the MMVAs about weird fan experiences, training for Eclipse’s fight scenes, and which “messed up” moment from Breaking Dawn she can’t wait to see on the big screen.
You look great, as always.
Thank you. This dress is J Mendel. I love it because it’s so summery.
Do you have fun with fashion or do you feel pressure because there are so many people analyzing what you wear now?
I keep it fun. My general look is casual but put together, and then I get to go all out on the red carpets, so I get to live a double life. Tonight at the MMVAs, I’m wearing Isaac Mizrahi. It’s this crazy metal ensemble and I don’t know how I’m going to sit in it.
Are you looking forward to the MMVAs?
Oh yeah. Everyone who’s there — we’ve all become friends. Like Jessica Szhor from Gossip Girl is here and she’s a good friend of mine. And Nina [Dobrev from Vampire Diaries] is here. We all went out to dinner last night, so I’m literally in heaven.
Are you used to dealing with those insane crowds now?
I just take a deep breath. It’s one of the most exciting parts about this. There’s the glitz and the glamour, but when you get to see firsthand the fans who are backing you and are the reason why you’re doing well, and to see how excited they are, it just gives me butterflies.
What’s the weirdest fan experience you’ve ever had?
This one woman asked me if I would marry her husband. I was like, “Um, I’m just going to walk away now.” I always think it’s crazy when fans send me things and give me things. Because I’m like “You don’t need to get me anything; you’ve already given me a career!” But I have a fan that made me this incredible, intricate scrapbook. It was an entire documentation of my career, which is a really special thing to get from a fan. It was really cool.
I hear you haven’t seen Eclipse yet.
I’m going to wait. I want to see it at the premiere. I think if you’re going to go, go all out. So I want to be there with the fans. It’s always fun to hear their reaction; if you’re character gets hit they cringe and groan, and then they scream when Rob comes on, so it’ll be fun. Plus, I want to see it for the first time with all my friends and family.
I think you’ll really like it; it was my favourite of the three.
Thank you! That’s so good to hear. Because it’s also really nerve-wracking, waiting to see it with everyone. You’re like “What if they all hate it?” But there is a lot of action, and David Slade’s sense of humor is very dark and twisted and dry. And I think that’s going to play across in the film.
This one has lots of action and fight scenes. What was the training like?
Man, we trained forever. It was a good six, almost seven weeks having to work with a stunt coordinator and then a personal trainer. It was crazy but I was so amped and ready for it. I took martial arts as a kid so I was like “Yes, throw me into it. Let’s go!” To be able to look at it and say “That’s me. I did most of my own stunts” is a very cool thing.
Has your approach to Alice changed over the past three movies?
Every director we’ve worked with has been really fantastic and each film has a different tone, and it’s nice that we have the ability to add layers to our character and they get to grow with each film. I certainly have a base that I set up and I’m very attached to this character, but it’s really nice to have a director come in and give you a different perspective. I’m always open to opinions of other people and ideas the character. It’s completely a collaboration. I don’t know how other films work, but I know with this one, everyone’s been completely respectful of each other.
How was working with David Slade?
It was really fun, really exciting. He is just a crazy ball of energy. You could completely see where he was going with this film. It’s very dark and twisted; it’s a little more mature. I think he’s growing the franchise, so it was really nice working with him. And Bill Condon…I’m super excited to work with him [on Breaking Dawn]. He’s a brilliant director as well.
This film is so much darker than the other two. Did that affect the mood on the set?
Not really. We’ve become so comfortable with each other and our characters that in between takes, we break character and joke around and then they call action and we’re able to go right back into it. That’s also how David Slate works too. We break and he jokes around.
Are there any scenes from the books that you wish made it into the movies?
Me and Jackson [Rathbone] were talking about how we wish they could have intertwined that whole diner scene with Jasper’s backstory because it’s so sweet; it’s one of my favourites. But luckily, the fans probably know more about Alice than I do. [Laughs] So they don’t need to see everything on screen to understand why Alice is the way she is.
Are you looking forward to Breaking Dawn?
Oh yeah. Even though it’s not about my character, I want to see the interaction between Jacob and Renesmee. I’m very interested to see the scene where he imprints on Renesmee and just see Kristen’s reaction to realizing that. I think it’s going to be a really messed up but hysterical scene to watch.
It’s going to be difficult to keep Breaking Dawn PG-13.
I’m dying to see the script to see how they do it. I have no doubt that it will be PG-13 but there are a lot of things that are going to have to be blurred over. But I think that’s why they hired Bill Condon; I’m sure he’s up for the challenge.

Intervju om Eclipse & Alice
"Now that you've finished the third film of the Twilight series, is being a part of this franchise everything you expected it to be?
Ashley Greene: "I don’t think I expected it to be this. It certainly hasn’t let me down in any way, but I don’t think any of us had any idea of the scale of what it would become and the phenomenon that it’s become. I don’t think you can really conjure that up in your head because when was the last time you have seen something like this happen?"
It hasn't - not even with the cast of Harry Potter. Are you hounded all the time?
Ashley Greene: "Yes, there’s always paparazzi. I live in LA so I’m sure...I think if I lived in New York maybe, or Florida, but LA there are so many paparazzi it's crazy. It isn’t too awful until it gets close to release dates. That's when it gets crazy."
Has it changed your perspective on acting in general, being part of a franchise like this?
Ashley Greene: "Not really. I love it just as much as the day I started. There isn’t anything to compare it with because I think in Hollywood, or in this profession, there’s really no plan. You’re never going to walk down the same road as somebody else, so I never had any kind of thought of how it would happen. I definitely know I’m lucky, and I definitely know it doesn’t happen for a lot of people. I’m just enjoying it right now. It’s opened up a ton of doors and I’m jumping at the opportunity and working like a maniac."
Has your approach to playing Alice changed over the course of the three films? Do you like her better now than when you started?
Ashley Greene: "She’s a great character and I’ve always loved Alice. Of course, it’s changed since we’re working with different directors each time. This character is essentially me at certain points. You know what I mean? I’m so aware of everything little thing about Alice’s life. I’ve been immersed in this Twilight world, so sometimes there are things that I don’t notice or things I don’t think about. Because you see yourself every single day and you don’t notice if your hair is different or you don’t notice if you’ve gained or lost weight; other people notice it. Having these other directors come in is kind of nice since they give me a different perspective. She has grown a little bit in different ways with each director, I think."
She gets to be involved in the film more than she has been in the previous films. That must be really nice for you. All this hard work and now you're on the screen more.
Ashley Greene: "New Moon was fun for that reason. And the third, Eclipse, is awesome too because we all got to interact and everyone’s part got bigger. We all kind of got a piece of the action."
And you got to do more scenes with Jackson Rathbone. It was nice to see that relationship develop. Did you guys do anything special to get that bond, other than working on the films together?
Ashley Greene: "It’s going through this whole thing, all of us kind of created a bond that a lot of people will probably never experience in the way we have. It’s hard to explain to people sometimes what’s going on unless they go through it."
"He made me laugh from the very beginning; from day one when we met it was instant. There was chemistry there and we knew it was going to be so simple. The more we get to know each other, the more it grows. It’s been certainly a positive being around each other versus being a negative."
"Yes, it was totally fun to interact with him a little more on screen. I think the fans will be excited that you do get to see it. You get to see a little flirtation. You’ll get to see that with everyone in the family. There are points where we get to pick on each other, we’re showing off, we’re fighting, stuff like that. There are more playful elements to the film, thought it’s also darker. It’s very odd that we got both of those in there."
It is darker and you get to do action stunts that you haven’t done before.
Ashley Greene: "Yes. I got a little taste of it in New Moon, just a little tease. We were all really excited to do that. I was thinking, 'Well, I have a background in martial arts. I did a little cheer and dance,' so I was totally ready for them to throw it on us and they did. Every day or every other day we were working at it, and I think it paid off and was totally worth it."
The action looks good onscreen. David Slade is a lot different director than the past two, so what did he do that helped you out?
Ashley Greene: "He definitely brought...he has a dark, sarcastic sense of humor. Luckily my father is very sarcastic and so am I, so I quite enjoy David. I think Summit has done a good job of selecting directors to really compliment the tone of the film, and the tone of Eclipse is darker. It’s got a little more weight to it. We’re dealing with some crazy issues in this one and everything is a little intense in this film. I think he did a good job of honing in on that without overdoing it and making it too dramatic. He did a great job in making this a really intense dramatic, dark film without over-killing it."
How do you think it really compares to the other two? Is it just darker? Is that what you would say is the big difference?
Ashley Greene: "Absolutely. I don’t know if intense is the right word. It’s definitely real, in this one there’s definitely no fairy tale. The first one, I mean everything from the scenery to the interaction between Bella and Edward was the result of that fairy tale element and in this, even with the love triangle there is a lot of pain. I think it’s a little more adult than the other two."
The next one is even more adult. Do you think Breaking Dawn will still manage a PG 13 rating? Can they pull it off?Ashley Greene: "They are going to have to. Luckily we have Bill Condon, and I think he is very well qualified."
Have you met him yet?
Ashley Greene: "I haven’t met him yet but I know, as a lot of people know, his work. Again, Summit has not failed us yet with picking directors for the films. I’m sure he can tackle it and we are all excited about it. Luckily, I think, this is happening over the course of four years basically, so at least [the audience] is growing older with us. I think that there are some things that we might have to skip over a little bit. It’s going to have to be very specific how it’s portrayed on the screen."
What do you think about dividing Breaking Dawn into two films?
Ashley Greene: "I’m certainly not against it. I think it's weird that it's coming to an end. At least we know that we have two more of these coming versus one, so we have two more premiers and two more press junkets that give us a little more time with each other. We always say we are very lucky because we don’t say goodbye, we say 'see you later,' and we get to come back. So it will be very interesting in the last days of Twilight."
How are you going to handle that?
Ashley Greene: "I don’t know. I would hope that we all would stay in touch. It’s hard because we’re all busy. Twilight has given us all good opportunities that we’re all jumping at. As much as we want to hang all the time, you know, Kellan [Lutz] is in Montreal and Jackson [Rathbone] is touring around the world with his band, which makes it difficult."
"Back to Breaking Dawn, I think, well the book is quite lengthy, basically double the size of the original, of Twilight, so I think it makes sense to be able to split it into two films."
Is there anything from the books involving Alice, from the three Twilight films you've done now, that you wish would have been included in the movies?
Ashley Greene: "I’m pretty happy with it. You know what I wish that was in the original? There is a moment between Alice and Bella where Alice is talking about Bella turning into a vampire and she explains to her how Edward would be angry about it. It was this really nice moment between Alice and Bella that didn’t end up making it into the final script. That would have been cool, but I’m pretty happy with everything, with the way it is turning out. It’s a good balance that Alice has got really sweet parts, gets to be girlie and plan parties, and she also gets to kick butt in the next film. I get to see the future, what else could happen."

Women's Health artikel
There's a lot of pressure on vampires these days. Scary stares and fang flashes just don't cut it anymore. Take the characters from Twilight, for example. In the third installment of the blockbuster series, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, these undead creatures of the night have to run, fly, and do battle with the forces of evil, all while looking impossibly gorgeous.
Actress Ashley Greene was up to the challenge. To play the part of vampire Alice Cullen, kin to Kellan Lutz's character Emmett and the brooding Edward (Robert Pattinson), as well as loyal pal to the human object of Edward's desire, Bella (Kristen Stewart), she had to sculpt her 5'5" frame into a lean, mean bad-guy-fighting machine.
"My body holds muscle really easily, and I tend to bulk up [if I'm always lifting] weights," says the 23-year-old Jacksonville, Florida, native. So while filming the movie in Vancouver, she focused on cardio, squats, and planks during her daily hour-long interval sessions. "I did side planks for my obliques, which are one of my trouble areas," she says. "And traditional planks tone your back so you don't have that little bit of fat hanging over your bra. Ugh!" Ashley even inspired squat contests among her female costars ("I'm a competitive little sucker," she says with a laugh). She did add in a couple of nontraditional weight moves: working with kettlebells and pushing a big box filled with weights across a room. "My butt and legs were so sore!"

Bringing an end to the week with a icy treat, Ashley Greene was spotted at Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt in Studio City on Friday (June 11).
Wearing a seasonably appropriate colorful frock, the “Eclipse” cutie and a pal grabbed up the yogurt snacks before heading off to continue along with the day’s agenda.
In related news, Miss Greene happens to be the covergirl of the new issue of Women’s Health – in which she talks about her ideal body type and men.
Of the look she’s hoping for, Ash tells, “I don’t want a child’s body. I want a woman’s body that is extremely fit. It’s so much sexier. ”
As for the boys, Greene says of her likings, “I love a pretty boy with an edge. Someone who has blue eyes, who has mystery, and who’s a little brooding.”

Ashley pratar Breaking Dawn
Håller med Ash på denna, BD borde verkligen bli två filmer! :)
Now that Ashley Greene has her contract nailed down for Breaking Dawn, it’s all business (and a little bit of pampering) for the brunette beaut.
We ran into Ash yesterday at Kari Feinstein’s MTV Movie Awards Style Lounge at the Montage Beverly Hills, where she dished about what’s going on with the final flick being one or two movies.
She couldn’t possibly be the difficult Twilight star we alluded to yesterday, right?
First things first, Ashley says she’s rooting for Breaking Dawn to be broken up (shocker).
“I think everyone wants to split it in two, just because it’s such a huge story, and we want to kind of actually capture everything and keep everyone happy,” Ash dished, rather matter-of-factly. “But who knows. It’s kind of up to the writers and everyone to see what’s best, but I’m hoping for two.”

Ashley Greene - nya ansiktet för Mark!
"There’s a new dawn breaking at Mark. Avon Products Inc.’s playful beauty and fashion brand for young women has signed “Twilight” starlet Ashley Greene as the Mark brand ambassador.
Greene, who plays Alice Cullen in the “Twilight” films, replaces reality-TV-star-turned-designer Lauren Conrad as the face of the brand, as her contract is set to expire.
“Ashley has a natural beauty, but I love that she experiments with fashion,” said Claudia Poccia, global president, Mark. “She mixes it up and makes it her own.” In recent years, Greene, 23, has become a red-carpet stunner, and this season she graces the cover of several glossies, including this month’s Seventeen magazine and the upcoming issue of Women’s Health.
Greene’s career success and support of charitable causes also piqued Mark’s interest. “We have this mission of celebrating young women making their mark on the world,” Poccia said. “Ashley has set goals for herself and is achieving those goals.”
Greene said she first became acquainted with Mark after rifling through a gift bag she received at an event.
“Initially, I was drawn to Mark because of the products,” Greene told WWD. “But what really sealed the deal was its empowering message to young women, which is something I relate to.”
Greene — who is involved in the DonateMyDress.org campaign — nodded to Mark’s efforts to support causes that affect young women, including its strides to stamp out dating violence.
Greene said she’s in the midst of “exploring all the [Mark] products” and gravitates toward items that travel easily, naming Save the Day Anti-Acne Concealer Stick and Light Bright Lighten & Depuff Eye Gel (which can be combined onto one stick) and Glossblossom Ripening Lip Tint. She favors a more natural look and has begun to take a “more proactive approach” to skin care. “I wear sunscreen every day and under-eye cream.”
With Greene’s work schedule, eye cream may be the key to looking bright-eyed and rested. She’s slated to appear in five to six films through 2011, including the June 30 release of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” and the indie film “Skateland,” and in 2011 “Butter,” a Weinstein Co. ensemble comedy, “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” and the lead role in Warner Bros.’ “The Apparition.”
Mark tapped fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier to shoot the ad campaign featuring Greene. TV and print ads will begin to appear this fall. Greene will appear in Mark’s magalog, its product brochure used by the brand’s sales representatives, in early 2011. Referring to representatives’ view on their new brand ambassador, Poccia said, “She’s a young woman they can look up to.”

Ashley på FHM’s Sexiest Women in the World list
"Despite sporting a haircut that makes her look like a cross between a windswept Furby and a gin-addled pantomime dame, we saw past this to the 23-year-old’s epic hotness after spotting Greene in her breakout role as Alice Cullen in the Twilight movies. The Florida-born ex-model won the part after paying her dues playing ‘McDonald’s Customer’ and ‘receptionist’. This year she has more Vampire action, as well as a new hairdo for Warrior, which is about ‘a maverick lacrosse player’."
Dessutom, här är en ny video från Ashley's photoshoot med SoBe Lifewater!
